Diversity

We did a great activity to understand diversity and differences.  It was a really nice way to show how people look different on the outside, but we are all the same on the inside.

First, the students each took and orange and put stickers on the outside.  When we put them all in a bowl we could pick out each person's orange based on their stickers.  This represents how people all look different on the outside.

Then we pealed the oranges and added them back to the bowl.  This time it was MUCH harder to identify each student's orange since they all looked very similar with no peel.
